Kia India customers are now also getting the benefit of GST reduction. The company has announced that it will reduce the prices of its entire lineup. This means that customers will now be able to buy popular cars like Kia Seltos, Kia Sonet and Kia Carens at a lower price than before. The company says that this discount will not only apply to select models but to all vehicles. Let’s know in detail.
How much will be the savings?
The company has reduced the prices of many of its models. After the implementation of the new GST rate, customers will get discounts on different cars. The lowest discount of Rs 48,513 has been given on Carens and the highest discount of Rs 4,48,542 on Carnival. The discount is less on vehicles with smaller engines while cars with bigger engines are getting more benefits. For example, Sonet is getting a discount of Rs 1,64,471, Ceros is getting Rs 1,86,003, Seltos is getting Rs 75,372, Carens is getting Rs 48,513, Carens Clavis is getting Rs 78,674 and Carnival is getting Rs 4,48,542. This means that the bigger the car, the bigger the discount. Due to the lower price on cars with smaller engines, the benefit is also slightly less.

The GST Council recently took a big decision, under which tax rates on cars and SUVs have been reduced. Earlier, where GST was up to 28% on small and mid-size vehicles, now it has been reduced to 18%. At the same time, the tax burden on big and luxury SUVs has also been reduced.
