GST Reform: From next Monday, GST on small cars will be reduced from 28 percent to 18 percent.

In that regard, from next Monday, the GST on small cars will be reduced from 28 percent to 18 percent. As a result, the price of Maruti cars will be reduced by a maximum of Rs. 1.29 lakh, the company has announced.
In particular, the price of the Maruti S-Presso has been reduced by Rs 1.29 lakh to Rs 3,49,900. Similarly, the price of the Alto K10 has been reduced by Rs 1,07,600 and is being sold at Rs 3,69,900.
The prices of SWIFT and DZIRE cars have been reduced by an average of Rs 85,000, to around Rs 6 lakh. Similarly, the prices of cars including BREZZA and FRONX have also been reduced by Rs 1.12 lakh. Maruti has announced that this price reduction will be effective from next Monday.
