The Haryana government is on alert after a ruckus in the farmers’ tractor rally in Delhi. The state government has suspended mobile internet services in Sonipat, Jhajjar and Palwal districts till 5 pm on Wednesday. In view of the events in Delhi, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar held a special meeting of his cabinet on Tuesday and appealed to all farmers to return to their homes.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that farmers’ organizations had assured a peaceful tractor rally in the national capital. But it is clear from the events that have emerged that this movement is no longer under the control of these peasant leaders, and the movement is now in the hands of such chaotic elements whose ideology is different from peasant interests.

Gift to farmers, copra’s MSP increased in central cabinet meeting

The Chief Minister said that the sad incident on the Red Fort on the occasion of Republic Day is highly condemnable. In a democracy, there is enough scope to resolve differences through dialogue. But in spite of all the differences, no Indian can tolerate any other flag being hoisted from the ramparts of the Red Fort in place of the national flag. This is an insult to our freedom fighters and martyrs who sacrificed everything to hoist the tricolor on the Red Fort.

CM Manohar Lal Khattar said that now the farmer brothers should think deeply about which direction this movement is going. The entire cabinet of Haryana, through its special meeting, appeals to all the farmers present in the movement to return to their respective homes. At this time there is a dire need that all of us together thwart the intentions of anti-social elements.
