Haryana Weather Update: According to the latest update from the Meteorological Department, an orange alert has been issued in 10 districts and a yellow alert in 12 districts. Cold wave alerts are already in place in these districts, including Sirsa, Hisar, Fatehabad, and Bhiwani. The IMD has issued an orange alert for the coming days in Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Kaithal, Panipat, and Sonipat, as well as Gurugram and Faridabad, and a yellow alert for Sirsa, Hisar, Fatehabad, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Palwal, and Nuh.
According to the IMD, a new western disturbance is expected to activate in Haryana on December 29th. Consequently, the weather will change rapidly and become cloudy in the latter part of December. This is likely to increase fog in Haryana and Delhi-NCR. Rain is also expected in the first week of the new year 2026.
Fog and intense cold will continue to affect northern India, including Haryana, starting December 26th. Visibility will be low. According to the Meteorological Department’s warning, this dense fog could cause problems for travelers and travel.
