Heavy Rain Alert: Heavy rain expected for the next 6 days, Meteorological Department issues alert for these states

Heavy Rain Alert: The monsoon’s pace is still strong in many states across the country. The effects of the monsoon are about to be felt again. Consequently, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rain for the next six days for several states.

The good rains have not only brought pleasant weather but also brought relief from the heat. Heavy rains have fallen in many states. The monsoon’s pace has now slowed down in many parts of the country, leading to higher temperatures. However, the monsoon’s impact remains, with intermittent rains continuing in many states. Now, the monsoon’s impact is about to be felt again. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rain alert for several states for the next six days, from September 30th to October 5th.

Northwest India

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon’s impact will be felt again in northwest India. According to the Meteorological Department’s alert, intermittent heavy rains are expected in many areas of Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jammu and Kashmir, while light to moderate rains are possible in other areas over the next six days.

Western India

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon will once again be felt in Western India. Consequently, a warning has been issued for heavy rain in many areas of Maharashtra, Goa, Konkan, Gujarat, Saurashtra, and Kutch for the next six days, and for light rain in several districts. There is also a warning for thunderstorms and lightning during this period.

South India

According to the Meteorological Department’s alert, the monsoon will also affect South India. This could lead to heavy rainfall in many areas of Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Yanam, and Lakshadweep over the next six days. Strong winds and thunderstorms are also possible during this period.

Northeast India

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon’s effects will again be felt in many states of the Northeast. This will lead to heavy rains in many areas of Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, and Mizoram between September 30 and October 5. Thunderstorms are also possible in some areas during this period.

Eastern and Central India

The monsoon’s effects will again be felt in Eastern and Central India over the next six days. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain alerts have been issued for many areas of Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Sikkim, West Bengal, and Vidarbha. Drizzle is also expected in many areas during this period.
