Heavy Rain Alert: As soon as the southwest monsoon became active, the rainy season has started in Rajasthan. Heavy rains occurred in many areas including the capital Jaipur on Friday. Today, on Saturday, June 21, a rain alert has been issued in all the districts of the state except Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh and Bikaner. There is a possibility of rain with strong winds blowing at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour.
At present, the rainy season is likely to continue from June 22 to the next four days. On June 21, thunderstorms and rain are likely to continue in some parts of eastern Rajasthan and on June 22-23, heavy rains are likely again at some places in Bharatpur, Kota division. The system formed over eastern India is currently located over north-east Jharkhand and is likely to move slowly in the northwest direction.

Light to moderate rain with thundershowers and one or two rounds of heavy rain/lightning/strong surface wind (thunderstorm) (30-50Kmph) at isolated places in Pali, Jodhpur, Jalore, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh districts and adjoining areas.
Light rain with thundershowers at isolated places in Baran, Kota, Jhalawar, Bundi, Nagaur, Jaipur, Rajsamand, Bikaner, Barmer, Jalore, Sirohi, Udaipur, Dungarpur, Banswara, Pratapgarh districts and adjoining areas. Lightning and strong winds (20-30 kmph) at some places.

The highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded at 42.8 degrees Celsius in Sri Ganganagar and the lowest minimum temperature was recorded at 30.8 degrees Celsius in Sri Ganganagar.
The average amount of humidity in the air was recorded between 75 to 100 percent in most parts of the state.
