Delhi Metro On Women’s Day: On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2025, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced a unique and exciting event for women passengers. To make this special day more memorable, fun activities like ‘on-the-spot pebble art’ and Sudoku competition will be organized.
DMRC Principal Executive Director Anuj Dayal said that these activities will be organized at three major metro stations, Rajiv Chowk, University and Delhi Haat-INA Metro stations on 28 February, 3 and 4 March 2025 respectively. The time of the competition has been fixed from 10 am to 12:30 pm. In which all women passengers can participate and showcase their creativity.
The best pebble art works will be displayed
The best pebble art works selected in the competition will be displayed at various stations of Delhi Metro. Apart from this, a daily online quiz will be conducted on Delhi Metro’s official social media platform “X” (@OfficialDMRC) from February 28 to March 4, 2025. The first female participant to give the correct answer each day will be awarded a prize.
Announcement of winners and prizes
The winners of the Sudoku competition and online quiz will be announced on 5 March 2025 (Wednesday) on the official website of Delhi Metro (www.delhimetrorail.com). All the winners will be given certificates of appreciation and attractive prizes.

Dayal said, women are an important segment in Delhi Metro and their safety and convenience is given priority. “This special event has been planned to make the journey of women passengers more interesting. This is not just a competition but also an opportunity for women passengers to show their creativity and recognize their abilities.” Through this special event, DMRC wants to provide women passengers not only a safe journey but also an interesting and memorable experience.
