The Uttar Pradesh government has increased the honorarium of Sanskrit teachers by 75%. Purva Madhyama teachers will now get 20 thousand rupees and Uttar Madhyama teachers will get 25 thousand rupees.
UP Honorarium Hike: There is good news for the teachers of non-government aided (aided) secondary Sanskrit schools of Uttar Pradesh. In the cabinet meeting held on Thursday under the chairmanship of CM Yogi Adityanath, the honorarium of 1020 teachers has been increased. Also, consent has been given to extend the tenure of two sessions.
According to the decision of the cabinet meeting, the honorarium of teachers teaching in Purva Madhyama (High School) has been increased from 12000 to 20 thousand and the honorarium of teachers teaching in Uttar Madhyama (Inter) has been increased from 15000 to 20 thousand. Apart from this, due to lack of regular appointment, consent has also been given to extend the tenure of honorarium teachers appointed in 2021 and 2023 and currently working for the academic session 2025-26 and 2026-27.
Now death gratuity to the families of teachers of aided colleges
The families of teachers of aided non-government (aided) colleges will now get Rs 25 lakh as death gratuity. According to the proposal of the Higher Education Department, it has been decided to pay death gratuity to the families of the teachers of aided colleges who were not given the option of retirement and died before the age of 58, and also to those teachers who opted for retirement at the age of 60 but died before the period prescribed for changing the option.
Honorarium of Sarpanchs increased in Punjab too
Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab has increased the honorarium of village Sarpanchs. Now Sarpanchs will be given Rs 2000 every month. On this occasion, the CM said that Sarpanchs will be paid salary from the day of oath taking. We will soon add one more zero to the number two thousand.
