Honorarium Hike: Good news for employees! Honorarium increased, Cabinet approves, now up to Rs 25,000 will be credited to the account

HP Cabinet Meeting: On Monday, a cabinet meeting was held in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh under the chairmanship of CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, in which a dozen important issues will be approved after discussion. However, no decision could be taken in this meeting on increasing the retirement age of employees and stopping or continuing the commutation of pensioners.

In the cabinet meeting, it has been decided to increase the monthly honorarium of operation theater assistants from Rs 17,820 to Rs 25,000 and the monthly honorarium of radiographers and X-ray technicians from Rs 13,100 to Rs 25,000. Along with this, it was decided to increase the subsidy given on fodder for cows in the state’s Gaushalas from Rs 700 to Rs 1200 per cow per month.

No decision on increase in retirement age and commutation

No decision was taken in the cabinet meeting on increasing the retirement age of employees and stopping or continuing the commutation of pensioners. It is expected that this can be discussed in the next cabinet meeting. Under commutation, there is a provision to give 15 to 40 percent pension advance to retired employees.

Let us tell you that the Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu government of the state is considering increasing the retirement age of employees from 58 to 59 years, the Finance Department has also prepared a proposal which is yet to be discussed. The Cabinet Sub-Committee on Resource Mobilization has also recommended increasing the retirement age to 59 years.

UP’s KGBV teachers and employees’ honorarium increased

UP’s Yogi Adityanath government has increased the honorarium of teachers and employees of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) by 5 percent. After this, the honorarium of full time teacher of KGBV will increase from Rs 24200 to Rs 25410. On the other hand, part time teacher will now get honorarium of Rs 12790 instead of Rs 12181 and warden will get honorarium of Rs 31763 instead of Rs 30250. This will benefit 12 thousand employee teachers of the state.
