How to Block Debit Card: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) keeps sharing tips related to secure transactions to bank account holders. Through the Twitter handle of RBI, customers are informed about how they can avoid being a victim of fraud.

According to the RBI, if the bank account holder’s debit and credit card or his details are stolen or lost, then first block the card. According to RBI, a little caution can remove a lot of customers’ problems.




Never share your PIN, OTP or bank account details. If your card or its details are stolen or lost, immediately block the card. All the banks have provided medium to their customers to prevent the customers from being blocked / stolen due to lost or stolen cards or any other reason.

Customers can handle this by calling or using the official Mobile Phone application of the bank. Apart from this, you can also do this through SMS. Customers can also do this online using Internet banking. That is, you can block your card sitting at home without going to the bank.
