If gums bleed, then vitamin C should be included in the diet, it will be beneficial

A new study has revealed that a diet rich in vitamin C can prevent the problem of bleeding from the gums.




Gingivitis is a sign of bleeding gums

Researchers at the University of Washington completed this study and the study’s results have been published in a journal called Nutrition Review. According to the study, if your gums bleed (bleeding gums), then you should brush with flossing twice a day, as it can be the initial symptom of gingivitis. Although sometimes there is a problem of bleeding from the gums even when there is lack of vitamin C in the body.

Blood comes from the gums due to lack of vitamin C too

Lead author of the study, Philippe Hujol, a professor of oral health sciences and a dentist himself, explains the study, saying, “Whenever someone sees blood coming out of his teeth or gums, he feels that he Not brushing adequately (brushing teeth) starts brushing more often. But here it is important for you to know why blood is coming from the gums and lack of vitamin C in the body can be a possible reason for this.

Problem is increased by increasing vitamin C intake 

The results of the study revealed that gingival bleeding or bleaching in the eye, called retinal haemorrhaging, was associated with a low level of vitamin C in the blood when examined in a gentle manner. During their research, the researchers found that increasing the level of vitamin C in the daily diet in those with low vitamin C plasma level helped in curing these diseases related to bleeding.
