Weather Update: Even after the entry of monsoon in Chhattisgarh, the rain has stopped. Due to the lack of system, there has been light to moderate drizzle for a few days. Favorable conditions are also not being created for the monsoon to move forward, due to which the southwest monsoon is stuck in Bastar division. Here the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for 11 districts. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with strong winds here. Due to no good rain in central Chhattisgarh for a week, the maximum temperature has increased. The maximum temperature has started increasing again. Strong sunlight is also being felt in Raipur, Durg-Bhilai, Bilaspur.
Raipur Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for Sukma, Bijapur, South Bastar Dantewada, Bastar, Narayanpur, Kondagaon, North Bastar Kanker, Raigarh, Jashpur, Surguja, Balrampur districts. There is a possibility of thunder and lightning along with rain here. The wind speed can be 40 to 50 km per hour. In Central Chhattisgarh i.e. Raipur, Durg-Bhilai, Rajnandgaon, Balod, Bemetara, Khairagarh-Gandai, Bilaspur, the weather is clear and the sun is shining brightly. The heat and humidity have made people miserable. The maximum temperature in Raipur is expected to be around 39 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be around 27 degrees Celsius.
Rainfall due to this system
The northern boundary of the synoptic system monsoon is passing through Mumbai, Ahilyanagar, Adilabad, Bhawanipatna, Puri, Sandhead Island Balurghat. A trough is formed 1.5 km above sea level from South Chhattisgarh to interior Odisha, Jharkhand and adjacent South Bihar, northern parts of West Bengal to north-east Bangladesh. The cyclonic circulation of upper air formed 1.5 km above sea level over Jharkhand and adjacent South Bihar has merged with the upper trough. Due to its effect, light to moderate rain is likely at one or two places in the state. Apart from this, wind can also blow at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour along with thunder.
Durg district is the hottest, Korea is cold
Maximum temperature is likely to increase by 3 to 4 degree Celsius in Chhattisgarh during the next 48 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and thunderstorms with strong winds in some districts of the state. During the last 24 hours, light rain has occurred in Gariaband, Dhamtari, Kanker, Balod, Raipur, Baladoubajar-Bhatapara, Bilaigarh-Saranghar, Janjgir-Champa, Sakti, Bilaspur, Korba, Jashpur, Surajpur, Korea, Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur districts. At the same time, moderate rain has been recorded in Mahasamund and Bastar districts. Bastar has received the highest rainfall of 21.7 mm. The highest temperature in the state was recorded at 38.2 degree Celsius in Durg and the lowest minimum temperature of 22.3 degree Celsius in Korea, 22.4 degree in Surguja.
