Today’s Weather Live: The weather across the country is constantly changing. From North India to South India, the weather is surprising people. The capital, Delhi, is experiencing increased heat, while there are warnings of rain and snowfall in the hilly areas. Meanwhile, winds from the Indian Ocean are changing the weather scenario. The powerful cyclone “Horacio,” which has formed over the ocean, has reached speeds of up to 260 kilometers per hour. Meteorologists are calling it the most dangerous storm of this year. Although it will not directly impact India, it has destabilized the weather across the Indian subcontinent. In view of the storm, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. An alert has even been issued for the coastal areas of Kerala.

The Meteorological Department has issued various alerts in several parts of the country. There is a snowfall warning in the hilly states. There is a risk of thunderstorms in South India. Fog is returning to Punjab. Meanwhile, the heat is expected to increase rapidly in North India. This means that the weather is going to show many forms simultaneously.

A significant change in temperature patterns has been observed over the past few days. Daytime temperatures are steadily rising in northwest India. The Meteorological Department predicts that maximum temperatures may increase by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius over the next seven days. Heat may also intensify in Gujarat and Maharashtra. Meanwhile, western disturbances are becoming active, bringing rain and snowfall to hilly areas.

On the other hand, increased humidity in northeast and south India will continue to cause rain. Thunderstorm warnings have been issued for Andaman and Nicobar, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. Weather experts say that the combined effect of oceanic activity and western disturbances will continue to alter the weather in the coming days.

Heat will increase in Delhi-NCR

The weather in Delhi-NCR is expected to remain dry for the coming days. The sky will remain mostly clear and the sun will become brighter. According to the Meteorological Department, daytime temperatures will steadily rise, reaching between 29 and 32 degrees Celsius and possibly reaching 34°C around Holi. There may be light fog or smog-like conditions in the morning and late night. However, there is no forecast of rain at this time. The heat will intensify during the day, and people will begin to feel hot winds in the afternoon. With temperatures remaining above normal, pre-summer-like conditions may develop as early as March.

UP and Uttarakhand Weather Information

The weather in Uttar Pradesh is expected to remain dry and hot for the next seven days. Maximum temperatures may remain 3 to 5 degrees Celsius above normal, making the day feel hotter. Western and central Uttar Pradesh will experience bright sunshine, while nights may remain mildly cool. No rain alert has been issued for any district.

The weather in Uttarakhand will be different. Due to the influence of a western disturbance, light rain is expected in hilly districts and snowfall in higher altitudes between February 27 and March 2-4. This could cause temperatures to drop and tourist destinations to experience increased cold.

What will the weather be like in Bihar and Jharkhand?

The weather in Bihar and Jharkhand will remain stable and dry for the time being. However, there are indications that temperatures will gradually rise. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature may increase by about 3 to 4 degrees Celsius by the beginning of March. The sun will be bright during the day, and the heat will be felt in the afternoon. The weather at night and in the morning will remain pleasant. No warnings have been issued for rain or storms. Clear weather will provide favorable conditions for harvesting crops and agricultural activities in the fields, but increasing heat will require caution.

Punjab-Haryana Weather

The weather in Punjab and Haryana will have a dual impact. While daytime temperatures will rise, dense fog may worsen in the morning. The International Monetary Fund (IMD) has predicted dense morning fog in many areas of Punjab until February 28th.

Haryana may also experience fog in the morning and late night. The weather will clear as the day progresses, and temperatures will rise rapidly due to sunshine. Farmers will be favored by the weather, but drivers have been advised to exercise special caution during morning travel.

Rain and Snowfall in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir

The weather in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir is set to change again. Due to an active western disturbance, light to moderate rain and snowfall are expected in many areas and high-altitude areas between February 27 and 28, and again between March 2 and 4. Tourist destinations like Shimla, Manali, Gulmarg, and Sonamarg may experience fresh snowfall. This will cause temperatures to drop and the cold to intensify. Mountain roads are likely to become slippery, so tourists and locals have been advised to exercise caution. The Meteorological Department has advised travelers to seek updates before traveling to high-altitude areas.

Weather in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan

The weather in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan is expected to remain dry overall, but temperatures will rise sharply. The intense sunlight during the day will intensify the heat, and temperatures may rise above normal in many cities.

Light, warm winds are expected in western Rajasthan, making the afternoons more intense. Night temperatures will remain moderate for now, but may increase in the coming days. Clear weather is expected, with no rain expected, and the heat will gradually subside.

Know the situation in Tamil Nadu

The weather in Tamil Nadu will remain relatively active. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for thunderstorms and lightning in several districts. Coastal and southern areas may experience light to moderate rain, while some areas may experience sudden bursts of heavy rain. Due to increased humidity, humidity levels will also increase, making people feel sticky heat. Fishermen in coastal areas have been advised to remain vigilant. Temperatures will not rise significantly due to cloud movement, but the weather will remain unstable.
