IMD Rain Alert: Alert issued for severe heavy rain till December 2, warning of dense fog also

Heavy Rain Alert: Heavy rain warning has been issued in many parts of the country till December 2. See what the weather will be like in which place.

IMD Rain Alert: Heavy to very heavy rains are likely at isolated places over Coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Heavy to very heavy rains are likely at isolated places over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry during 28 to 30 November. Heavy rains may also occur here on 1 and 2 December.

Heavy to very heavy rains (Latest Rain Alert) may occur at different places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam during 28 to 30 November. Apart from this, rain is also expected in Andaman and Nicobar Islands on 30 November.

Heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over Rayalaseema during November 28 to 30 and over Kerala and Mahe during November 30 to December 2.

Dense fog is likely to persist in different areas of Himachal Pradesh till 29th in the late night and early morning. Fog is expected in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh till 30th and in Uttar Pradesh till 1st December.

The Regional Meteorological Department, Chennai has issued an alert for very heavy rain today i.e. on November 28. The Meteorological Department informed that the deep depression over the southwest Bay of Bengal has slowly moved towards north-northwest at a speed of 3 km per hour (Cyclone Fengal Storm Live Update).
