IMD Rainfall Alert, Weather Update: The second phase of monsoon is going on. In the coming days, it will start moving towards its end, but before leaving, there is heavy rainfall in various states. Due to the low pressure area, there is an alert of heavy rain in two states, Gujarat and Rajasthan, till September 7.
IMD Rainfall Alert: A low pressure area has formed over northwest Madhya Pradesh and adjoining east Rajasthan. It is likely to turn into a depression over south Rajasthan and adjoining north Gujarat by the morning of September 7. Due to this, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in two states, Gujarat and Rajasthan, till September 7. There will be extremely heavy rains at some places in Gujarat during September 5 to 7 and Saurashtra and Kutch on September 6 and 7, and exceptionally heavy rains in Gujarat on the 6th. There is also a possibility of extremely heavy rains in eastern Rajasthan on the 5th and 6th and in south-west Rajasthan on September 7.
Talking about North West India, heavy rain alert has been issued for Uttarakhand on September 6 and 7, Himachal Pradesh on September 8 and 9, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi on September 8-10, Punjab on September 10, East Uttar Pradesh on September 10 and 11, East Rajasthan on September 8, Marathwada on September 5, Konkan and Goa on September 7, and Central Maharashtra.
Apart from this, if we talk about eastern and central India, then during the next seven days, very heavy rains are expected in western Madhya Pradesh, eastern Madhya Pradesh on five, Odisha on five, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar during eight to ten, Andaman and Nicobar Islands on nine and ten, Chhattisgarh on 10 and 11 September, and at some places in western Madhya Pradesh on five.
At the same time, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday forecast moderate to heavy rains in many districts of Arunachal Pradesh between September 6 and 9. According to the Meteorological Department, thunderstorms are also expected locally in some parts of the state. According to the district-wise forecast issued by the Meteorological Center in Itanagar, sporadic to heavy rainfall is expected on Saturday, especially in West Kameng, East Kameng, Kurung Kumey, Kra Dadi, Lower Subansiri, Papum Pare and parts of Lohit and Namsai.
