How will the old photo change
If you also want to get your picture changed in your Aadhaar card, then you have to go to the Aadhaar center for this. You can apply to change your photo by going to the nearest bank branch or post office. It is important to know that here you will have to take a new photo with the help of webcamRay as before. Passport size photo given by you will not be accepted. It may take up to 90 days for the photograph to be updated in the Aadhaar card.
The entire process of converting a picture into an Aadhaar card
Go to Aadhaar Enrollment Center / Aadhaar Service Center.
You can download and take ‘Aadhaar Enrollment Form’ from UIDAI website. You will also find this form at the center.
Fill this form thoroughly and give it to the executive sitting in the center. Also, give your biometric details.
After this, the person at the center will take your live picture.
Now you have to pay GST charges of Rs 25 and up.
After payment, you will get an Eclipse slip, which will contain the update request number (URN).
You can check the update status of Aadhaar card using URN.
After your photo is updated in the Aadhaar card, you can download it online.
Process to update mobile number in Aadhar card
Go to Aadhaar Enrollment Center / Aadhaar Service Center.
Fill the Aadhaar update form properly in the center.
Fill in your existing mobile number in the form.
After this, the executives sitting in the center will do your biometric authentication and register your request. To update the mobile number, you have to pay 50 rupees as a fee.
After payment, you will get a slip, which will have a unique reference number (URN). With its help, you can get information about the update.
