New Delhi: Big news has come out related to lakhs of account holders of Punjab National Bank. PNB has issued an alert to its selected customers to update KYC. The government bank said that the accounts of those account holders who do not update KYC on time as per RBI guidelines can be blocked. In such a situation, to do transactions without any hassle, get your KYC updated before the stipulated time.

It is necessary for these account holders to get KYC done

Punjab National Bank said that this alert is for those account holders whose KYC update has not been done till 31 December 2024. That is, if the KYC updating of your account is pending, then you will have to complete this process soon. Otherwise, the transaction can be stopped.

Use only these methods to update KYC

PNB has given another important advice to its customers. The bank said that do not click on any suspicious link coming in the name of KYC update nor download any unknown file. PNB said that customers should contact the branch or use official channels to update KYC.

Update KYC from home using PNB App

If you want to update KYC from home, you can do it through PNB ONE app.

Step 1: Login to PNB ONE app.

Step 2: Check KYC status.

Step 3: If KYC update is pending, click on Update KYC.

Step 4: Complete Aadhaar authentication through OTP.

This is the way to update KYC offline

If you want to get your account KYC done offline, then for this you will have to go to your nearest Punjab National Bank branch. Here you will have to submit your identity proof, address proof, latest photo, PAN or Form 60, income proof and mobile number. Please note that you can also send these documents through registered e-mail or post office.
