Important News: With this app from ICICI, your car insurance claim will be approved in a few hours, video calling feature added

Keeping this problem in mind, private sector non-life insurance company ICICI Lombard General Insurance has launched the DIY (Do-it-yourself) feature. Its name is ‘InstaSpect’ (Insta Specta). It has been launched under the IL TakeCare App.

This feature eliminates the need to take stock of the damage caused by vehicles through physical survey. Instead, it has included the option of live streaming, which leads to virtual assessment of the damaged vehicle. This reduces the time of claim approval to just a few hours.




Claim getting approval from home

The company claims that since its inception, more than 10 lakh motor insurance claims have been approved. In the digital era, InstaSpect has gained a lot of momentum in this new normal and now more and more people are getting claim settlement without leaving home in this era of Corona.

Agents and surveyors were having problems traveling in Corona during the period due to social distancing. In this case, InstaSpect has emerged as the easiest way to claim motor insurance without any problems and delays.

Verification will be done through video call

It was launched in 2018 and since then it has emerged to be extremely popular among customers across the country. It includes many interactive features such as instant survey through live video call. It has features related to the solution through video call and real time inquiry with the help of claim managers. It has helped immensely in gaining popularity of this feature of the app.

Approval takes place within a few hours

The claim manager tells the customer a rough estimate of the damage and liability. The customer can then accept the claim manager’s assessment. With this, the claim is immediately extended for further approval. After this, the claim manager instructs to bring the vehicle to the nearest garage present in the network. With this, the garage gets instructions to be ready immediately so that its repair can be started as soon as the train arrives.
