IMPS‌, UPI Bank Transfer Failed? Do this ..!

On March 31 and April 1, many banking customers in the country had difficulty sending cash online. During those two days, many people had problems with IMPS, NEFT, RTGS and UPI. The money they sent to them was debited from their bank accounts. But for those who are a little tired of the stereo-typed name-calling, This was explained by the National Payments Corporation of India.

March 31 is the closing day of the fiscal year. April 1 is the opening day of the financial year. So the banks’ servers went down naturally. As a result, many customer transactions fail. However, there is no problem at present. NPCI replied that customers can use the service as usual.

However, customers will have to wait for one day from the time of the transaction if the credit is not available even to those who have debited cash from the bank account. Credit will be given to those who are not sure of the date or to other persons. Failure to do so should be reported to the concerned banks. With this, banks will have to pay Rs.100 / – per day to the customers till the credit is credited from the end of one day. Customers can lodge a complaint with the Banking Ombudsman and seek redressal of grievances if the credit is not forthcoming.
