The Aadhaar Card has become the need of every Indian today. Whether one has to reveal his identity or to get a gas subsidy from the government, the Aadhaar card works everywhere. However, its benefits are greater only when it is linked to your account.
Indane Gas Company started service
If you have not yet linked your Aadhaar card to your account and gas agency, then do not worry, now you can do this work even while sitting at home. That too by sending just one message. Yes, Indane Gas has recently started this service for its consumers.
Do this work before sending the message
Before sending the message to get the Aadhar card linked, make sure that your mobile number is registered with the gas agency or not. If the number is linked, you can send a message to get the Aadhaar card linked directly. However, if the number is not linked, you will have to get the number registered by sending a message first.
Register your mobile number like this
If your number is not registered then you will have to send an SMS. Go to the message box and type IOC <STD code of the telephone number of the gas agency> and send it to <Customer care number>. If you do not know the number of the gas agency, then you can visit the official website cx.indianoil.in.
In this way link will be Aadhaar card
On sending the message, your number will be registered with the gas agency. After this, you have to send a new message to link the Aadhaar number and gas connection. For this, type UID <Aadhaar Number> in the message box and send it to the same number (gas agency number). After doing this, your gas connection will be linked with Aadhaar and you will get the confirmation message on your mobile phone.
Even one call can work
If you have taken an Indane gas connection, then you can also link the gas connection with Aadhaar through just a phone call. To link with the call, one has to call 1800 2333 555 from the registered mobile number with the gas connection. Here, if you want, you can link your gas connection to the customer care employee by telling them your Aadhaar number.
