Indian Railway: Good news for railway passengers! Before Diwali and Chhath, many special trains are going to run by the railways, see the complete list here

New Delhi: Before Diwali, there is good news for railway passengers. Passengers who wish to go home on Diwali and Chhath are going to get rid of the hassle of getting a confirmed ticket in the train. Indian Railways has announced to run special trains in view of the demand of railway passengers during Diwali and Chhath Puja 2021. First North Central Railway and now Western Railway has announced to run some special trains in view of the apprehension of crowd on the festival.




Western Railway announced the operation of Bandra Terminus-Subedarganj, Bandra Terminus-Mau Special Train, Surat-Karmali Train, Surat-Subedarganj Train and Ahmedabad-Kanpur Central Special Trains by tweeting. With the arrival of these special trains, passengers are also expected to get a lot of relief.

Western Railway announced to run these trains

Train No. 09191: Bandra Terminus – Subedarganj will leave Bandra Terminus at 19.25 hrs on every Wednesday and reach Subedarganj at 22.20 hrs the next day. This train will run from 27 October to 24 November 2021.

Train No. 09193: Bandra Terminus – Mau Special will leave Bandra Terminus at 10.25 hrs on every Tuesday and arrive Mau at 9.00 hrs on 3rd day. The train will run from 26 October to 16 November.

Train number 09187: will leave Surat at 7.50 pm on Tuesday and reach Karmali at 1.10 pm the next day. This train will leave Surat on every Tuesday at 7.50 PM and will reach Karmali at 11 AM the next day.

Train No. 09117: Surat-Subedarganj Special will leave Surat at 6 am on every Friday and will reach Subedarganj at 7.50 am the next day. The train will run from 22 October to 26 November.

Train No. 01906: Ahmedabad-Kanpur Central Special will leave Ahmedabad at 3.05 hrs on every Tuesday and arrive Kanpur Central at 11.55 hrs the next day. This train will run from 26 October to 30 November.

Special trains are also being run on these routes

Train number 01676: will run between Anand Vihar Terminal and Muzaffarpur twice a week from 11 October to 17 November. This train will leave Anand Vihar at 22.50 hrs on every Monday and Wednesday and will reach Muzaffarpur at 22.00 hrs next day.

Train number 01675: Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar Festival Special will be operational from 12 October to 18 November. It will depart Muzaffarpur at 23.45 hrs on every Tuesday and Thursday and reach Anand Vihar at 23.30 hrs the next day.

Train No. 01670: New Delhi to Darbhanga will run twice a week from 11 October to 18 November. This train will leave New Delhi at 19:25 on Monday & Thursday and will reach Darbhanga at 16:00 hrs the next day.

Train No. 01669: Darbhanga to New Delhi will run twice a week from 12 October to 19 November.

Train number 01638 : New Delhi – Barauni Superfast will run between New Delhi and Barauni twice a week from 12 October to 20 November. Departure from New Delhi at 19:25 on Tuesday & Friday and reach Barauni at 16:00 hrs the next day.

Train No. 01637: From 13th October to 20th November will run twice a week. This train will leave Barauni at 19:30 hrs on Wednesday & Saturday and will reach New Delhi at 16:40 hrs the next day.

Train No. 01662: Anand Vihar – Saharsa Festival Special Express will run twice a week from 11 October to 18 November. This train will leave Anand Vihar at 11:10 hrs on Monday and Thursday and will reach Saharsa at 11:30 hrs the next day.

Train number 01661 will be operational from 12 October to 19 November. This train will leave Saharsa at 14:30 hrs on two days Tuesday and Friday and will reach Anand Vihar at 13:55 hrs the next day.

Train number 01668 will run between Anand Vihar and Jaynagar. Departure from Anand Vihar at 10.30 hrs on Tuesday & Friday and reach Jaynagar at 13:35 hrs the next day.
