Railways has extended the operation of Ajmer Santaragachhi special fare special train till January 1, 2026. Apart from this, many special trains will also be operated from December.
Indian Railway Special Train: There is good news for rail passengers. Indian Railways has decided to run special trains via Chhattisgarh, Haryana and Rajasthan in December. Apart from this, Northern Railway Moradabad Division is going to run a special train for one trip each between Saharanpur-Varanasi on 28th November. Train number 04552 Saharanpur-Varanasi special train will leave Saharanpur on 28th November at 2 pm and will reach Varanasi at 7 am the next day via Bareilly, Hardoi, Raebareli, Pratapgarh. On the return journey, the 04551 Varanasi-Saharanpur special train will depart from Varanasi on November 28 at 2 pm and will reach Saharanpur at 7 am the next day. Meanwhile, train number 04451 Howrah-New Delhi special, 01929 Jagannathpuri-Jhansi special train, 01930 Jhansi special train, train number 02418 Prayagraj special train, train number 09326 Patna-Anand Vihar special train will be operated from December 14.
Special trains to run in December
The Jaipur-Bhiwani Express Special will depart from Jaipur every day from 1st to 31st December at 7 am and will reach Bhiwani at 2:20 pm. On the return journey, the Bhiwani-Jaipur Express Special will depart from Bhiwani every day at 4:05 pm and will reach Jaipur at 11:25 pm. It will stop at several stations including Ringas, Srimadhopur, Rewari and Charkhi Dadri.
Train No. 09633 Rewari-Ringas Special will depart from Rewari at 10:50 am on 1st, 4th, 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 20th, 21st, 25th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st December and will reach Ringas at 1:35 pm. On the return journey, Ringas-Rewari Special will leave Ringas at 2:20 pm on 2, 5, 7, 8, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 26, 28, 29, 30, 31 December and 1 January 2026 and will reach Rewari at 5:20 pm. There will be stoppages at Ateli, Narnaul, Dabla, Neem Ka Thana, Kavant and Shrimadhopur stations en route.
Train number 09634 Rewari-Ringas Special will leave Rewari at 11:45 am on 1, 4, 6, 7, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 25, 27, 28 and 31 December and will reach Ringas at 2:45 pm. On the return journey, it will depart from Ringas at 3:05 pm on the same dates and arrive in Rewari at 6:20 pm.
Train No. 08261 (Bilaspur-Yelhanka) will depart from Raipur every Tuesday from December 2nd to 30th at 12:50 pm and arrive in Yelahanka at 9:00 pm the next Wednesday.
Train No. 08262 (Yelhanka-Bilaspur) will depart from Yelahanka every Wednesday from December 3rd to 31st at 9:00 pm and arrive in Raipur at 2:25 am the following Friday.
Train No. 07717 – Tirupati to Hisar will run from December 3rd to 24th (every Wednesday) and Train No. 07718 – Hisar to Tirupati will run from December 7th to 28th (every Sunday).
Train No. 04481-82 Jind-Kurukshetra Special train will operate on November 29, November 30, and December 5. Train No. 04482 will depart from Jind at 10:30 am and will reach Kurukshetra at 1:20 pm via Uchana, Ghaso, Narwana, Kalayat, Kaithal, Tik. On the return journey, Train No. 04481 will depart from Kurukshetra for Jind at 2 pm and will reach Jind Junction at around 5 pm.
Train No. 06007 MG Ramachandran (Chennai Central)-Varanasi Special train will depart from MG Ramachandran Central (Chennai Central) at 4:15 pm on December 6, 2025, and will reach Nagpur, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki, and Varanasi at 23:15 pm the next day.
Train No. 06008 will depart from Varanasi on 11th December at 23.00 hrs and will reach MG Ramachandran (Chennai Central) at 23.30 hrs on the second day via Prayagraj Chheoki, Satna, Katni Jn., Jabalpur Jn., Itarsi, Amla, Nagpur and Vijayawada on the third day.
Extension of these trains
Train No. 08612 Ajmer–Santragachi Special Fare Special train has been extended until January 1, 2026.
Train No. 02841 Shalimar–MGR Chennai Central Special will continue to operate until December 29.
Train No. 02842 MGR Chennai Central–Shalimar Special train will now operate until December 31.
