Festival Special Trains: North-Western Railway has canceled 12 festival special trains due to security and technical reasons. Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, Sunil Beniwal said that due to safety and technical reasons, North and Western Railway has been canceled daily and some weekly trains till December 1.

This train became canceled

According to the information, the daily running of Jammutvi-Ajmer from Tuesday to November 30, Ajmer-Jammuutvi from Wednesday to December 1, Badmer-Rishikesh train from Tuesday to November 30, Rishikesh-Badmer from Tuesday to December 1, Bathinda-Delhi Tuesday From 30 to 30 November, Delhi-Bathinda from Tuesday to 30 November, Sriganganagar-Delhi train has been canceled from Tuesday to 30 November.

Similarly, Delhi-Sriganganagar trains daily from Tuesday to November 30, Ajmer-Amritsar bi-weekly on Thursday and Saturday, Amritsar-Ajmer bi-weekly on Friday and Sunday, Ajmer-Amritsar bi-weekly on Monday and Wednesday and November 30, Amritsar- Ajmer bi-weekly is canceled on Thursday, Friday and December 1.

Train service restored on Punjab route

From Monday 23 November, passenger and goods train service was restored on the Punjab route. Train service to Pajamb was restored after agitating farmers (Punjab farmers protest) announced to withdraw from the railway tracks.

The farmers have given permission to run trains in Punjab from November 23 for the next 15 days. Northern Railway said that the New Delhi-Una Janshatabdi Express train is the first passenger train that left for Punjab on the restored track after the movement.

Tejas Express closed

IRCTC of Indian Railways has stopped the service of Tejas Express (Lucknow-New Delhi Tejas Express) running between Lucknow to New Delhi. Railways has also announced to discontinue the service of Tejas Express running between Ahmedabad to Mumbai (Mumbai-Ahmedabad Tejas Express).



Actually, the railways have announced to cancel the service of these Tejas Express trains due to non-availability of passengers. In the coming time, the Railways is also making various efforts to increase the number of passengers in these trains.

Let me tell you that Mumbai Mumbai-Ahmedabad Tejas Express was restarted from October 17 after almost 7 months of service was suspended due to the lockdown caused by Corona epidemic.
