Indian Railways: While the Magh Mela held in the Sangam city of Prayagraj is attracting a large crowd of devotees, the Indian Railways is also ensuring its participation for the convenience of the pilgrims. Keeping in mind the expected rush of pilgrims during the Magh Mela, the Indian Railways has decided to provide a temporary two-minute halt for several trains at Prayag Station in the Lucknow Division of Northern Railway from January 1 to February 20, 2026.
Pankaj Kumar Singh, CPRO of North Eastern Railway, stated that for the convenience of devotees arriving in the Sangam city of Prayagraj during the Magh Mela, several trains are being temporarily halted at Prayag Station in the Lucknow Division to facilitate their arrival.
