New Delhi. Indian Railways has canceled 16 trains in Bihar, West Bengal and Jharkhand. These trains have been canceled from 7 May 2021 till further orders. According to a senior official of Eastern Railways, these trains of Eastern Railway were run in the Corona period, but passengers never traveled according to their capacity. At the same time, due to the second wave of Corona (Coronavirus Second Wave), the number of passengers has reduced even more than before. In such a situation, the Railways has decided to cancel these trains.

These trains of Bihar have been canceled

Indian Railways has said that the resources and capacity saved by the cancellation of these trains will be used to operate other trains or to run Goods Trains. Eastern Railway said that 03401 and 03402 Special Express from Bhagalpur in Jamalpur, Kiul, Mokama, Barh, Bakhtiyarpur, Fatuha, Patna City and Patna Junction to Danapur have been canceled since May 7. This train will run on scheduled time till 6 May. Let us see what other train has been canceled apart from this.

These trains of Bengal-Jharkhand will also be canceled

  • From May 7, Howrah Ranchi Special Express has been canceled from Howrah in West Bengal to Durgapur, Asansol, Dhanbad, Ranchi via Bokaro Steel City.
  • Train numbers 03027 and 03028 Howrah Azimganj Special Express have also been canceled.
  • Train numbers 03047, 03048 Howrah-Rampurhat Express and 03117 and 03118 Kolkata-Lalgola Express will also be canceled till further orders.
  • Special train numbers 03502 and 03501 running between Haldia to Asansol near Kolkata have also been canceled. This train connects the Shilpanchal of West Bengal with the coastal city of Haldia.
  • Special train numbers 03187 and 03188 running between Sealdah to Rampurhat have also been canceled. All these trains have been canceled from 7 May 2021, while the same will continue till 6 May.
