Indian Railways New Timings: Train timings changed from January, know the complete details of the new timings

Indian Railways: At the beginning of the new year, North Western Railway has implemented a new timetable for passenger convenience and smooth train operations. Indian Railways New Timings: With the arrival of the new year 2026, the North Western Railway has implemented a new timetable for passenger convenience and smooth train operations. This change includes significant changes to the arrival and departure times of dozens of major trains originating and passing through Udaipur. According to railway officials, these measures are primarily aimed at improving track maintenance, punctuality, and operational efficiency. The new timetable updates the timings of night, weekly, and daytime trains to provide better passenger convenience and ensure punctuality.

Significant changes have been made to trains such as the Udaipur-Khajuraho Express, Kota-Asarwa Express, and Kolkata-Udaipur Ananya Express. Additionally, additional stoppages have been added to some trains, providing greater passenger comfort and convenience.

Major changes to the Udaipur-Khajuraho Express

The biggest change is the Udaipur-Khajuraho Express. This train will now depart 20 minutes earlier than its scheduled departure time.

New Timings for Night Trains and Weekly Trains

  • Kota–Asarva Express (19822): Arrives in Udaipur at 12:20 a.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays and departs at 12:30 a.m. after a 10-minute halt.
  • Kolkata–Udaipur Ananya Weekly Express (12315): Arrives at 12:48 a.m. on Saturdays.
  • Udaipur–Kolkata Ananya Express (12316): Departs at 12:50 a.m. on Mondays.
  • Kamakhya–Udaipur Weekly Express (19616): Arrives in Udaipur at 12:48 a.m. on Sundays.

Changes in Morning and Day Trains

  • Mysuru–Udaipur Humsafar Express (19668): Arrives in Udaipur at 3:10 a.m.
  • Jaipur–Asarva Superfast (12981): Arrives at 3:45 a.m. and departs at 3:55 a.m.
  • Indore–Asarwa Express (19315): Arrives at 4:30 am and departs at 4:40 am.
  • Mewar Express (12963): Arrives in Udaipur from Delhi at 7:30 am.
  • Chittorgarh–Udaipur Passenger (59610): Arrives at 9:20 am, Badi Sadri–Udaipur Passenger (59606): Arrives at 9:05 am.

Night Trains and Additional Stoppages

  • Jaipur–Udaipur Intercity (12992): Arrives in Udaipur at 9:48 p.m.
  • Vande Bharat Express (20980): Departs at 10:15 p.m.
  • Ratlam–Udaipur Express (19327): Departs at 11:35 p.m.
  • Udaipur–Khajuraho Express (19666): Departs at 9:50 p.m.

The Railways has also increased the stoppages of some trains. The Khajuraho Express will now stop at Bijaynagar, the Mysuru Humsafar at Mavli Junction, and the Jaipur–Udaipur Special at Kanakpura station.

Advice for Passengers

The Railways has requested passengers to check their train timings on the National Train Inquiry System (NTES) or 139 to avoid any inconvenience during their travel.
