Northern Railway today informed in a statement that 28 pairs of long-distance trains have been canceled until further orders. Canceled trains include 8 pairs Shatabdi 2 pair Duranto two pair Rajdhani and one pair Vande Bharat Express.
New Delhi, agency. Due to the increase in Corona in the country and lack of passengers, the Railways has canceled 28 pairs of long distance trains till further orders. These include Shatabdi, Rajdhani, Duronto and Vande Bharat Express trains. Northern Railway gave this information in a statement today. Canceled trains include 8 pair Shatabdi, two pair Duronto, two pair Rajdhani and one pair Vande Bharat Express.
Canceled trains include New Delhi-Habibganj Shatabdi Special, New Delhi-Kalka Shatabdi Special, New Delhi-Amritsar Shatabdi Special, New Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Special, New Delhi-Kathgodam Shatabdi Special and New Delhi-Chandigarh Shatabdi Special. They have been canceled from 9 May till further orders. Similarly, the New Delhi-Dehradun Janshatabdi Special will be canceled from May 10 and the New Delhi-Una Janshatabdi Special from May 9 till the next order.

Duronto and Vande Bharat Express also canceled
Railways said that Nizamuddin-Pune Duronto Special will be canceled from May 10 and Sarai Rohilla-Jammu Duronto Special from May 9 until further orders. Nizamuddin-Chennai Rajdhani Special will be canceled from May 12 and New Delhi-Bilaspur Rajdhani Special from May 11 till further orders. The Delhi-Katra Vande Bharat Special Express has been canceled from May 9 until further orders. Regular trains are closed for operation in the Corona era, but for the convenience of passengers, the railway is running special trains.
