Actually, to provide convenience to railway passengers, IRCTC has launched a new mobile application named SwaRail. Using which, passengers will be provided services ranging from ticket booking process to complaint management.

Talking about the features of the app, Swarail is not just known for its ticket booking tool. It is much more than that. Through this app, you can make reservations in minutes, check live train tracking and you can also book platform tickets, check PNR status and coach status from here.
Refund will be easily available through the new facility
Many times a situation arises when the train is cancelled by the government or due to some reason you have to cancel your booking. In such a situation, refund is available for cancelled or missed trains. In such a situation, you can submit a request for refund of train tickets through the new facility. Not only this, you can also lodge a complaint or give feedback.
Work is currently in process
The app has been developed by the Centre for Railway Information System (CRIS). Swarail is currently in early access, in which all the features are already available and more improvements are to be made.
