According to local media reports, the Indian embassy in Dubai will be allowed to accept passport applications from Indian expatriates living in the UAE. According to the Consul General of Dubai, Dr. Aman Puri, the process for the passport renewal form will be started from the day of application. According to Puri, the processing of some applications may take a long time. If all necessary verification is not already available.
