Indira Gandhi Urban Credit Card Scheme: Unemployed will get loan of Rs 50,000, will not have to pay interest

Indira Gandhi Urban Credit Card Scheme: Through this scheme, the Rajasthan government will provide loans up to Rs 50000 to small traders, vendors, thadi, handcart traders and citizens providing services in the unorganized sector, who have become unemployed due to coronavirus infection, so that small traders To face the financial crisis. Through this scheme, the ill-effects on informal business due to lockdown will be reduced. The loan availed under this scheme is interest free. There is no need to give any kind of guarantee to get the loan under this scheme. Applications can be made under this scheme till 31 March 2022. The beneficiary has to repay the loan within a period of 12 months.

District Collector will be the nodal officer of Indira Gandhi Urban Credit Card Scheme in the district. The verification of the beneficiaries will be done by the sub-divisional officer. The expenditure under this scheme will be borne by the state government. The loan amount can be withdrawn by the beneficiary through credit card or debit card in one or more installments till March 31, 2022. The loan amount will be repaid in 12 equal installments from the fourth to the 15th month. Under this scheme, loans will be provided by scheduled commercial banks, regional rural banks, small finance banks, cooperative banks and non-banking finance companies. Beneficiaries will be identified at the district level on the basis of the certificate issued to the vendor by the local urban faculty. Soon the government will launch the official website and mobile app to apply under this scheme.
