IPL 2021: IPL 2021 has been suspended due to Corona. Vice President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Rajiv Shukla made this announcement. After the players got infected, the BCCI had to take this decision. Players of Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals have been caught in the virus.
Recently, Varun Chakraborty of KKR, Sandeep Warrier, Chennai bowling coach Laxmipathy Balaji along with Hyderabad’s Wriddhiman Saha and Delhi’s Amit Mishra got Corona Test positive. After which the board took this big step.

Apart from this, the news of Delhi Capitals leg-spinner Amit Mishra also being Corona positive, after which the BCCI immediately suspended the IPL. IPL chairman Brijesh Patel told PTI, ‘The tournament has been suspended indefinitely. We will try to organize this competition in the next available time, but this month there is no such possibility.
