JEE-NEET Admission: This state government will open model schools in every block to provide JEE and NEET preparation starting in grade 9. Learn about the admission process, coaching facilities, and the entire plan…
JEE-NEET Admission: Admission to engineering and medical colleges requires challenging exams like the JEE and NEET. To succeed in these exams, most students resort to expensive coaching, which is beyond the reach of every family. To address this gap, the Bihar government has taken a significant decision. Now, students studying in government schools will also receive special facilities to prepare for the JEE, NEET, and other competitive exams. Under this initiative, a model school will be established in every block, where the level of education will be aligned with competitive exams. The government’s goal is to provide equal opportunities to economically disadvantaged but meritorious students.
Classes will begin as early as the 9th grade.
The highlight of this scheme is that students will be prepared for competitive exams as early as the 9th grade. It’s common for students to begin preparing in the 11th or 12th grade, leaving them short on time. Model schools will provide students with a strong foundation from an early age. Experienced teachers and subject matter experts will teach here, providing regular test series, doubt-clearing sessions, and career counseling. A modern library and quality study materials will be provided, enabling students to prepare effectively without outside coaching.
Model Schools to Open in Every Block
The Bihar government plans to establish these model schools in all 543 blocks of the state – providing students from villages and small towns with a preparation environment comparable to that of larger cities. This will help level the education system. The government wants to ensure that talent is not left behind due to a lack of resources. Preparations are underway to open these schools from this new session itself. Thousands of students are expected to benefit directly from this initiative.
Learn how to get admission
Admission to these model schools will not be direct; instead, an entrance exam will be conducted by the State Council of Educational Research and Training. Students who pass the exam will be admitted based on merit. This will ensure a competitive and quality learning environment. Selected students will receive regular training based on competitive exam patterns, and their progress will be monitored.
Hope for Poor Students
This initiative is especially important for students who are talented but cannot afford expensive coaching due to financial constraints. Model schools will provide them with the right guidance, resources, and an environment. If implemented properly, the number of students selected for JEE and NEET from Bihar could increase in the coming years. This initiative will not only improve the education sector but will also provide the youth of the state with the opportunity to dream and fulfill new dreams.
