Jharkhand Weather: The weather has changed in Jharkhand. On Sunday, dark clouds covered many districts including Ranchi and Dhanbad, causing darkness during the day. There was drizzle along with dust storm at different places. There was also rain at some places. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a change in the weather during the coming few days. There will be light to moderate rain at some places. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for rain along with thunderstorm in many districts of Jharkhand during the next 24 hours. Hailstorm may also occur at some places.

The weather remained hot, then changed.

According to the Meteorological Department, during the past 24 hours, the weather remained hot until noon in many districts of the state, including Ranchi. The maximum temperature in many districts remained close to 39 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in Ranchi reached 35.5 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature in Jharkhand was recorded at 38.7 degrees Celsius in Medininagar. The lowest minimum temperature in Jharkhand was 23.8 degrees Celsius in Jamshedpur. However, the weather changed on Sunday afternoon.

Dust storm, drizzle

Dark clouds suddenly covered various parts of Jharkhand in the afternoon. Dust storms also occurred in many places. The dark clouds brought darkness into the evening, altering the weather. Drizzle and light rain also occurred in some places. Meteorologists believe that winds coming from the Bay of Bengal and a cyclonic circulation over Assam and surrounding areas have caused the change in the state’s weather. This change will persist for a few days.

Orange alert in 17 districts

According to the Meteorological Department, lightning is also expected in many areas during the next 24 hours. This could damage crops. The Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorms and rain, along with hailstorms, on Monday. Jharkhand will remain generally cloudy with light to moderate rain during the next 24 hours. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for thunderstorms and showers accompanied by strong winds in 17 districts.

Hailstorms are possible

According to the Meteorological Department, an orange alert has been issued for all districts in Jharkhand except Palamu, Garhwa, Latehar, Lohardaga, Gumla, Simdega, and Chatra. Hailstorms are also possible in some areas, potentially affecting crops. Vegetable and pulse crops may be affected by hailstorms. Rainstorms and thunderstorms are expected to continue in Jharkhand over the next few days.
