JioFIber vs AirtelXStream broadband plans with speeds up to 300 Mbps unlimited data and benefits compared

Airtel XStream and JioFIber offer 300 Mbps broadband plans at Rs 1499. The plans offer a similar range of speed, that is 300 Mbps, however, the benefits of these plans vary depending on the ISP.

Airtel XStream and JioFiber offer broadband plans starting from Rs 399. Depending on the price of the plans, the internet service providers increase the benefits. People looking for generous speed and as well as streaming benefits can opt for Rs 1499 plans from Airtel XStream and JioFIber. The plans offer a similar range of speed, that is 300 Mbps, however, the benefits of these plans vary depending on the ISP.

Airtel XStream Ultra-broadband Rs 1499 plan: This plan offers unlimited internet with speed up to 300 Mbps and unlimited local and STD calls. As per Airtel, all plans include Airtel Xstream 4k TV Box along with 10,000+ movies, shows and original series from 7 OTT apps and 5 Studios. The entertainment, ultra and VIP plans give access to Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar and Zee5 services while all plans give access to Airtel XStream OTT services that include Lionsgate, Voot Basic, Eros Now, Hungama Play, Shemaroo Me and Ultra. The plans also give access to the Airtel Thanks app, Wynk Music.

JioFiber Rs 1499 broadband plan: Another top-tier broadband plan by JioFiber on the list costs Rs 1499. The plan gives truly unlimited internet with download and upload speeds capped at up to 300 Mbps. Along with providing unlimited voice calling, it also offers a free subscription to 15 OTT apps at no extra cost.

Coming to the streaming app subscription, JioFIber’s Rs 1499 plan gives access to 15 OTT apps including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar VIP, Sony Liv, Zee5, Lionsgate Play, Eros Now, Alt Balaji and JioSaavn. Jio also gives 6 months and 12 months billing options for this plan for which users will have to pay Rs 8994and Rs 17988 respectively. With the semi-annual and annual plans, users can also choose the postpaid method of payment with the 300 Mbps plans.

Jio does not charge its customers for getting a new broadband connection. However, they are required to pay a refundable deposit of Rs 1000. JioFiber also separately offers its users a 30-days free trial. This trial plan priced at Rs 1500 offers up to 150Mbps, unlimited voice calling, a 4K set-top box and a subscription to 10 OTT apps at no extra cost. If the user is not happy with the service, it will be discontinued without any charge. Airtel’s terms and conditions mention that users are required to pay an installation charge of Rs 1000. However, Airtel says it will waive the installation charges on long-term subscriptions 3, 6 and 12 months. Moreover, users that pick half-yearly months or annual plans are eligible for additional discounts of 7.5 per cent and 15 per cent, respectively.
