The Jio Pages browser has been launched on Android TV’s Google Play store. This web browser is the first Made in India browser specifically designed for TV.
Earlier, Jio page was only available on the setup box platform of Jio but now it will be present on every Android TV. In this, users will get a curated video content section in which you can watch 10,000 videos out of 20 categories.
The advantage of JioPages is that it gives users complete control over their data with data privacy compared to other browsers.
Due to its ability to work in 8 Indian languages apart from English, it is being termed as Swadeshi. JioPages fully supports Indian languages such as Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali. It will also have an integrated download manager from which you can access your download data, bookmarks, history management tab.
Customers will also get features like Personalized Home Screen, Personalized Theme, Personalized Content, Informative Cards, Indian Language Content, Advanced Download Manager, Incognito Mode and Ad Blocker.
Download this way on Android TV: On your Android TV based smart TV, you can download live pages by going to Google Play. To make some difference on the mobile version of Jio Pages TV, the app is available under Jio Pages TV Title. To provide web browsing experience to set-top-box users, it has also made it available for Jio set-top-box.
