Kadai Paneer Recipe: Make Kadahi Paneer at home like restaurant, mouth will taste

Paneer- Ingredients for making Kadahi
Paneer – 300 gms
Onion – 2 large (cut into square pieces)
Capsicum – 1 (cut into square pieces)
Tomatoes – 3
Green Chillies – 2
Cashews – 12
Oil – 2-3 tablespoons
coriander leaves – 3 tablespoons (finely chopped)
asafoetida – 1 pinch
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
turmeric – 1/3 tsp
coriander powder – 1 tsp
kasoori methi – 1 tbsp
ginger paste – 1 tsp
garam masala – less than a quarter tsp
red chilli – 1/4 tsp
Salt – Read this as per taste

How to make Kadai Paneer
To make kadahi paneer, cut the paneer into 1 inch long square pieces, cut the onion into square pieces and after clearing the capsicum with water, cut it into square pieces too. After this, heat 3 tablespoons oil in a deep bottom pan on a low flame and add cottage cheese pieces in it and stir it easily and after 2 minutes, turn off the gas and take out the pieces of paneer from the pan. Now add capsicum and chopped onion in this pan and fry it while stirring until crisp. After this, put tomatoes, green chilies and cashews in the grinder and make a fine paste. Once again put the pan on the heat. Now add cumin seeds and add tempering, then add coriander, turmeric powder, asafoetida and fenugreek leaves and fry it well. Then add tomatoes, chopped green chillies, ginger paste, cashew paste and red chilli powder and fry the spices on a light flame till the spices and oil begin to look different.




after this add garam masala and salt and mix it by adding half a cup of water. Then add fried paneer pieces, capsicum and onion, mix well and add green coriander over it. Now close the lid and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes until all the spices mix well in the vegetables. Now open the lid and see if the vegetable is cooked well. If the vegetable is cooked, take it out in a serving bowl and put green coriander over it. You can eat it with roti, naan or paratha.
