KFON New Plan List Released: The tariff information of the KFON (Kerala Fiber Optic Network) project, which was inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan as a popular alternative, has been released. Market experts say that KFON has introduced comparatively better plans. The Chief Minister had said that 20 lakh economically backward families will be provided free internet and the service will be provided at a lower rate than other mobile service providers.
The tariff information of 9 plans for a period of 6 months has been released. The plan that offers 3,000 GB data for 6 months at 20 Mbps speed is the lowest among the bunch. Charge Rs 1,794 for 6 months at Rs 299 per month. The plan, which offers 3,000 GB data at 30 Mbps speed for 6 months, is priced at Rs 2,094 at Rs 349 for one month. The government informed that 17,412 offices and 9,000 homes have KFON connections.
