The US viewed him as its “sworn enemy.” Now that he is dead, that goal appears to have been achieved. The US stated that it wanted to free the Iranian people from Khamenei’s rule. Now, it is clear that only a leader with US support can take charge.
Khamenei Death: Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has been killed. He died in Israeli and American attacks. This has now been confirmed by Iranian media. With this, the Khamenei regime, which had been in power in Iran since 1979, has also ended. Khamenei, who came to power after the Islamic Revolution, held complete control of Iran for nearly 47 years. The US viewed him as its “sworn enemy.” Now that he is dead, America’s goal appears to have been accomplished. The US had said it wanted to free the Iranian people from Khamenei’s rule. Now it is clear that only a leader with US support can take charge.
That leader could be none other than Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, who has been living in exile outside Iran for decades. Khamenei came to power by overthrowing his father. Now, he may return to Iran. He is very close to the United States and is settled there. Reza Pahlavi has consistently appealed to the Iranian people to free themselves from Khamenei’s rule. Now, even after his death, Reza Pahlavi has written on social media that Ayatollah Khamenei has been erased from Iran’s history. Now, Islamic rule will end, and the people of Iran should prepare for a new beginning.
By bringing Reza Pahlavi to power, the US may seek to achieve its own objectives. It has previously made similar attempts in countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, and Venezuela. Furthermore, the US has been blamed for the coup in Bangladesh. Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has also blamed the US for his ouster. If Iran were to be ruled by a US-backed government, it would have significant control over the oil market. Apart from this, it will also be decided that America’s dominance is not going to end now and it is maintaining its hold as before or even more.
‘Khamenei, the murderer of thousands, has been thrown into the dustbin of history.’
Regarding this, Reza Pahlavi wrote on X, “The bloodiest dictator of our time is no more. The murderer of thousands of Iranians has now been erased from history. With his death, the Islamic Republic has ended and will soon be buried in the dustbin of history.” Furthermore, Reza Pahlavi has also staked his claim to power. He says he will decide how power will be transferred in Iran. He stated that any attempt by the remaining factions of the regime to appoint Khamenei’s successor will be doomed from the start. Whoever they install will have no right to remain in power. He will also be someone who has shared in the sins of the Khamenei regime.
Reza Pahlavi appeals to the army: Join in building a new Iran
Pahlavi also appealed to the army, law enforcement agencies, and police to join forces. Pahlavi wrote, “Honored and courageous people of Iran, this may be the beginning of our great national celebration. This is not the end. Be vigilant and prepared. The time for a widespread and decisive presence on the streets is near. United and determined, we will achieve final victory and celebrate Iran’s independence in our beloved homeland.”
