Nicholas had a deep faith in the Lord Jesus, due to which he later became a priest. After this he became a bishop and was given the title of saint. Saint Nicholas came to be known by many names, in which his name is Kris Kringle, the Christmas Father. He used to help the poor since childhood.

Saint Nicholas one day reached the poor man’s house and came back with gold coins in the socks that were happy in the courtyard. With the help of Saint Nicholas, the lives of three daughters were saved. Because of this, even today socks are hung outside the house that Santa Claus will come and give him gifts.
