LJP Split: Chirag Paswan’s claim on the post of president, 5 MPs including uncle Pashupati expelled from the party

Bihar Politics: Chirag Paswan has expelled all 5 MPs including his uncle Pashupati Paras from the party.



Patna. The tussle for power and position in the Lok Janshakti Party has intensified. Chirag Paswan took a virtual meeting of the LJP working committee on Mangalawar. During this, taking a big decision, Chirag Paswan showed all the 5 MPs, including his uncle Pashupati Paras, who rebelled, out of the party. Only after this Chirag has also presented his claim on the post of the party’s president. . Here, in the meeting of the National Working Committee of LJP, Suraj Bhan Singh has been elected as the working president. It is believed that the national president will be elected within five days. At present, a meeting will be held under the chairmanship of Suraj Bhan Singh. A meeting of the National Executive can be held in a day or two. After the leader of the parliamentary party, now Chirag Paswan has also been removed from the post of national president of LJP.

Suraj Bhan was made the working president. Pashupati Paras can be made the new president of LJP by meeting in Patna in the next two-three days. Here, in the midst of the ruckus within the LJP, the Chirag camp is trying to save the party and power. The round of meetings continued till late Monday night at Chirag Paswan’s residence in Delhi, which is going on on Tuesday as well.

Chirag Paswan shares old letters

Chirag Paswan has now broken his silence for the first time amid the ongoing tussle in the Lok Janshakti Party. He shared some old letters written to Pashupati Paras in a tweet. Along with this, he wrote that I tried but failed to keep this party made by my father and my family together. Party is like mother and mother should not be cheated. In a democracy, the people are paramount. He further wrote that I thank the people who have faith in the party.



The letters shared along with his tweet are those that Chirag wrote to Pashupati Paras on March 29. In these letters, Chirag has written to Paras that after the death of Ramchandra Paswan, there was a change in you. I was saddened to give 25 lakh rupees to my mother even in my thirteenth grade. Chirag has written in a letter that I always tried to take my brothers along. You stopped talking after Papa left. Chirag has alleged in a letter that even though you were a father, you tried to break the party. At the same time, referring to the rape case on Prince Raj, Chirag said that even during the allegations against Prince, I stood with the family.
