Lockdown in Delhi: Delhi government imposed complete lockdown of one week, know what will be banned

To prevent the growing infection of Coronavirus in Delhi, the Delhi government has decided to complete the lockdown by next Monday (26 April).




New Delhi: The situation is becoming uncontrollable due to the corona virus in Delhi, the capital of the country, and to prevent the rising infection of Kovid-19, the Delhi government has decided to impose a complete lockdown in Delhi. The full lockdown in the capital Delhi will start from 10 am tonight and will continue till 5 am next Monday (26 April). Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor Anil Bijal held a meeting on Monday regarding the condition of corona virus, in which the decision regarding the lockdown was taken.

Bed and oxygen shortage in Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held a press conference after a meeting with the Lieutenant Governor. During this time, he said that we never lied to the public, whatever kind of circumstances we have always given the right information. Kejriwal said, ‘The condition of corona inside Delhi is very serious, there is a shortage of beds and oxygen in Delhi after more cases are reported daily. For this, we have sought help from the Central Government. He said that at this time the health system of Delhi has reached its limit.

These things will be banned in full lockdown

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that essential services will continue to operate during the lockdown. During this time people will be given e-pass for weddings, though only 50 people will be allowed to participate in the program. He said, ‘Food services and medical services will continue in addition to essential services. A detailed order will be issued soon regarding this.

CM Kejriwal appeals to migrant laborers

During the press conference, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal appealed to the migrant laborers not to leave Delhi. He said, ‘Last time when the lockdown was imposed, a large number of migrant laborers started going to their homes. I appeal to all of you not to leave Delhi. The state government will take care of you.

Corona virus havoc continues in Delhi.




Corona virus continues to wreak havoc in Delhi and a total of 25462 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, while 161 people died during this period. According to Health Department data, 8 lakh 53 thousand 460 people have been infected with Kovid-19 in Delhi so far and 12121 people have lost their lives. In the last 24 hours in Delhi, 20159 people got cured, while the number of active cases of corona virus has increased to 74 thousand 941.
