First, the increasing corona infection in villages after the UP Panchayat elections ( UP Panchayat Chunav 2021 ) and the second reason is the decreasing number of active patients during lockdown. In the last fortnight, 56 thousand active patients have been reduced in the state. Principal Secretary Medical Education Alok Kumar said that on April 24, there were 3,10,783 active cases in UP, which was reduced to 2,54,118 on May 7.
