The government has made such a system that if someone’s Aadhar card is lost, it can be easily made.



UIDAI has given complete information. If you want a new Aadhaar card, then you have to go to the UIDAI website and order for a new print. The organization claims that 60 lakh Indian citizens have taken advantage of the ‘Order Aadhar Reprint Service’ till now. According to the claim, reprinted Aadhaar letters were delivered to the people through speed post within 15 days.

Aadhaar can be reprinted both through UIDAI website and mAadhaar app . To apply for Aadhaar reprint, the Aadhar card holder must have their Aadhaar number or Virtual Identification Number ie VID. The special thing is that even if your mobile number is not registered in Aadhaar, you can get Aadhaar reprinted. There is an option to get OTP on non-registered mobile number.



Keep in mind that a charge of 50 rupees will have to be paid for getting Aadhaar reprinted. This includes GST and speed post charge. The reprinted Aadhaar letter will be delivered through Speed ​​Post within 15 days to the registered address of the Aadhaar cardholder.

Know the complete process of Aadhaar Reprint
For Aadhaar reprint through UIDAI website, first you have to go to ‘My Aadhaar section’ on www.uidai.gov.in and click on ‘Order Aadhaar Reprint’.
After this, you have to enter the Aadhaar number or VID and security code in the open page. If your mobile number is registered, then click on ‘Send OTP’.
If the mobile number is not registered, then click in the box of non-registered mobile number and enter the mobile number. After this, click on Send OTP.
Enter the OTP on the mobile number and read the terms and conditions and tick it in the box. After this there will be a preview show of Aadhaar Reprint. But preview is not available for non-registered mobile number holders.
After checking the details in the preview, click on ‘Make payment’. You can pay with the help of Credit Card / Debit Card / UPI or NetBanking.
After payment, details like receipt number, SRN, date and time of payment, transaction ID, will be displayed. There will also be an option to download an enrollment slip. You must note the SRN number. SMS will also come with SRN details on the mobile number entered.
You can also check the status – After applying for Aadhaar card reprint, you can also check the status of your application. The ‘Check Aadhaar Reprint Status’ option is available just below the ‘Order Aadhaar Reprint’ option in the ‘My Aadhaar section’ on the UIDAI website.
It can also be accessed through direct https://resident.uidai.gov.in/check-reprint-status. To check the Aadhaar reprint status, enter SRN, Aadhaar number and captcha in the specified space and click on check status. After this the status of Aadhaar Reprint will be revealed.
