LPG Price: Good news for LPG holders! LPG cylinder will be available 300 rupees cheaper for the next 8 months

LPG Price: The Narendra Modi government had started many such schemes in its first term which benefited women. One such scheme is PMUY i.e. Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala. There is a good news for the beneficiaries of this scheme. Actually, for the next 8 months, the beneficiaries will continue to get LPG cylinders 300 rupees cheaper than the general customers. What is the detail

Actually, under this scheme, beneficiaries are given a subsidy of Rs 300 along with free LPG connection. Just before the Lok Sabha elections, in the month of March, the cabinet of the Central Government had approved the continuation of subsidy of Rs 300 on LPG cylinder to the consumers of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Under this, the beneficiaries of the scheme will continue to get a subsidy of Rs 300 till March 31, 2025. This means that apart from July, the beneficiaries will be able to avail the benefit of Rs 300 discount on LPG cylinder for the next eight months.

In the country’s capital Delhi, the price of LPG cylinder for domestic use is Rs 803 per 14.2 kg. Beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana get a subsidy of Rs 300 on the cylinder. For such customers, the cylinder is available for Rs 503.
