LPG Price, October 1: Inflation has hit ahead of Dussehra. Amid the festive season, the price of LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) cylinders has risen, effective October 1. From Delhi to Patna, a 19-kg LPG cylinder has become costlier by up to ₹16.
LPG Price 1 October: Ahead of Dussehra, inflation has hit. Amid the festive season, the price of LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) cylinders has risen, effective today, October 1. A 19-kg LPG cylinder in Delhi will be available for ₹1,595.50 from today. Previously, it was ₹1,580. This represents an increase of ₹15.50.
In Kolkata, the same blue cylinder has now become Rs 1700. In September it was Rs 1684. There has been an increase of Rs 16 here. In Mumbai, from today, the commercial cylinder will be available for Rs 1547. Earlier it was priced at Rs 1531.50 here. This LPG gas cylinder has become costlier by Rs 15.50 in Mumbai and in Chennai, the same cylinder will now be available for Rs 1754. In September, it was available for Rs 1738. Here too, a slight increase of Rs 16 has been registered.
Domestic LPG cylinder rates remain unchanged.
Based on Indian Oil data, LPG prices in India are currently available for ₹853 in Delhi, ₹852.50 in Mumbai, and ₹890.50 in Lucknow. Meanwhile, the price in Kargil is ₹985.5, in Pulwama ₹969, and in Bageshwar ₹890.5. In Patna, the price is ₹951.

This month has brought joy for beneficiaries of the Ujjwala Yojana in Uttar Pradesh. The Yogi Adityanath government has decided to provide free gas cylinders (refills) to 18.5 million women in the state. Women will receive this gift on October 20th, before Diwali. Women covered under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will receive a free cylinder from gas agencies.
Navratri Gift for 2.5 Million Women
On the other hand, the Modi government has announced the distribution of 2.5 million Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala gas connections during Navratri. Currently, there are 103.5 million active Ujjwala cooking gas connections in the country. With the 2.5 million new Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala cooking gas connections announced on the first day of Navratri, the number of Ujjwala gas connections will increase to 106 million. The government will spend ₹2,050 on each new gas connection.
