Ladki Bahin Yojana eKYC: The Maharashtra government provides monthly financial assistance to economically disadvantaged women under the Chief Minister’s Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. However, there’s important news for beneficiaries under this scheme. Those who fail to complete their e-KYC will not receive the next installment under the Maharashtra Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana.

Get your e-KYC done by this date

Maharashtra Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare urged Ladki Bahin Yojana beneficiaries to complete their e-KYC as soon as possible. She urged all women to complete their eKYC before November 18th via the social media platform X. Failure to complete e-KYC could result in the ₹1,500 installment being withheld.

Let us tell you that the Maharashtra government had made ‘e-KYC’ mandatory for this scheme in September, due to which the beneficiaries were given two months time to complete this process and a government proposal was also issued in this regard.

The money will start arriving tomorrow.

He also informed that the October honorarium will be distributed starting Wednesday and will be directly deposited into the Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of all eligible female beneficiaries. This means that Rs. 1,500 will begin arriving in beneficiaries’ bank accounts starting November 5th.

The scheme was launched last year.

It is worth noting that in July last year, the state government launched this scheme to empower women financially.
