Premanand Maharaj resides at the Shri Krishna Sharanam Society in Vrindavan. He walks from the society to the Shri Hita Radha Keli Kunj Ashram every day at 4 a.m. During this time, thousands of devotees gather along the route from nightfall to catch a glimpse of him. The route is decorated with rangoli and showered with flowers. Premanand Maharaj has been suffering from kidney disease for a long time and requires regular dialysis.
Hasn’t set out on his walk for two days
According to reports, he hasn’t been able to set out on his morning walk for the past two days. Due to a lack of information, many devotees waited on the route as usual to have his darshan. Considering the inconvenience to the devotees, the Ashram clarified that his walk has been postponed indefinitely due to health reasons. This was officially announced by Shri Hita Radha Keli Kunj through social media.
Appeal to devotees
In a notice issued by the Ashram, devotees have been urged not to wait on the route for darshan. It was also stated that Premananda Maharaj’s health is his priority. On several occasions before, this padayatra has been postponed for several days due to his health.
