Man trapped on platform between moving train, wisdom of lady constable saved his life

At Laksar railway station, a passenger could have lost his life due to negligence, but due to the wisdom of the lady constable, he did not even suffer a scratch.

At Roorkee’s Laksar station, a woman constable saved the life of a passenger with her wisdom and now this constable is being praised a lot. A passenger traveling in a train going from Jammu to Sealdah got down to get water, but it was too much for him to board the moving train. He went under the train. The lady constable kept her pressed between the platform and the train. When the passengers in the train saw this, they stopped the train by pulling the chain and sent the passenger back on the train. This entire incident was captured in CCTV camera and after the video surfaced, everyone is praising the lady constable.

Due to the ongoing farmers’ agitation near Ambala, all the trains coming from Punjab are running late, due to which the train going from Jammu to Sealdah reached platform number four of Laksar Railway Station about five hours behind schedule. After the train stopped, a passenger aboard the train got down at Laksar Railway Station to buy some food items. As soon as he reached the train, the train started leaving the station and the passenger tried to board the moving train. He had some stuff in one hand. Because of this he could not control himself and fell down from the train.

Passenger boarded the train again

When GRP jawan Uma present at the station saw him, she immediately rushed to save the passenger and caught hold of both his hands. A crowd gathered at the station. The passengers in the train stopped the train by pulling the chain and the passenger was taken out. The passenger was not even scratched. Everyone praised GRP constable Uma. Laksar GRP station in-charge Sanjay Sharma said that the passenger was re-boarded the train and it left for its destination. Sanjay Sharma patted his constable Uma on the back and praised her.
