If you are a student of science and engineering and want to get a master’s degree in South Korea, then there is a great opportunity for you. Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG), South Korea has announced Seoul Tech Scholarship for 2025. Under this scholarship, students will get an opportunity to do a master’s degree in leading universities of Seoul. The last date to apply for this is March 14, 2025.
What will you get under the scholarship?
Full tuition funding: SMG and the university will cover 50-50 percent of the tuition fees.
Monthly expenses: Students will receive KRW 1,000,000 (approximately Rs 65,000) per month for living expenses.
Flight ticket: Students will be given a one-time economy class flight ticket to travel to Korea.
Health insurance: Students will be covered for health insurance up to the previous month’s actual expenses.
Career support: After completing the master’s degree, assistance will also be provided for work or entrepreneurship in Korea.
Know what are the required qualifications
Age: The candidate should be born after 1985.
Educational Qualification: The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering, and this degree should be from the top 100 universities of India (according to NIRF ranking).
CGPA and Percentage: The candidate’s percentage should be 80% or more, or he should be in the top 20% in his class. In terms of CGPA, it should be equal to 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5 or 3.23/5.0.
Language: This course will be in English, so the candidate should be good in English.

These documents will be required and this is the application process
Candidates have to get their documents apostilled and send them to the Indian Embassy, Seoul. This process takes at least 2 weeks, so all students should complete the application process before time.

This is the selection process
The selection process will be done by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Scholarship Foundation, and the Indian Embassy will have no role in it.
