Mobile Passport Service: A Mobile Passport Service Van was launched at the main post office in Sector 19, Noida. Its purpose is to provide citizens with passport-related services closer to their homes, eliminating the need to visit the passport office. Mobile passport van service: A mobile passport service van was launched on Wednesday at the Sector 19 main post office. This facility aims to provide citizens with passport-related services closer to their homes. The service was inaugurated by Manoj Kumar, Head Postmaster of the Postal Department.
Anuj Swaroop, Regional Passport Officer, Ghaziabad, stated that this initiative aims to provide citizens with the convenience of applying for and processing passports from the comfort of their homes, saving them the hassle of visiting the passport office. He clarified that no additional charge will be levied for this service.
This service has been launched as part of the Ministry of External Affairs’ outreach program to make passport services more accessible and convenient. The mobile passport van will operate three days a week and provide passport-related services to approximately 40 applicants daily. Regional Passport Officer Consultant Tejinder Anand stated that the mobile passport van will expand services to more areas in the coming days.
